About the academy: 

The LayRadio academy is the training and development arm to LayRadio aiming to give people of all ages the skills they need to develop and gain careers in radio, we are a non profit organisation aiming to deliver great radio for local people and work solely with volunteers of all ages who like you love radio and music.

We are an all internet broadcaster based in Cheshire we have no prior studios as all programming is done in house but we offer bespoke digital training courses designed to cover the basics of radio programming from programming shows, to voice tracking,  prerecording to even jingle production and lets not forget the fun stuff how to put together a radio show. Most of our courses are practical and are all tailor made to be fun and interactive. Weather your new to the mic, or wanting to try your hand at radio production we are waiting to hear from you.
